Why Ampersand?

Ampersand is the name of the symbol that stands for the word ‘and’. Because we are creating a community of dreamers, we want everyone to embrace ‘and.’ The word ‘and’ takes us places that we never knew we might go. We focus on learning because we believe that joyful, organic, relative, & dynamic learning is the heart of great education.

We are expanding our services to include a comprehensive suite designed to support transformative growth in education. Starting with our online courses, educators can advance their knowledge and earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) from the Teachers College of San Joaquin while driving meaningful change in teaching and learning practices. In addition, we offer consultation and advocacy services tailored to meet specific educational needs, along with professional learning opportunities to empower educators and enhance instructional impact. Coming soon, our quarterly subscription box—available for preorder in January 2025—will provide exclusive tools, resources, and inspiration for educators looking to bring innovation into their classrooms.
